A 20 year-old Regina male is facing a charge of Aggravated Assault after a fight at a house party on Tuesday night that sent a 21 year-old Regina male to hospital with injuries described as life-threatening.
On Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at about 10:03 p.m., police were dispatched to a house in the 1000 block of Retallack Street for a report of a fight. When police arrived, there were a number of young adults at the house, including a 21 year-old male, who was found on the ground in front of the house. The 21 year-old was the victim of an apparent physical assault; he was taken to hospital with injuries described as life-threatening. Investigation led to the arrest, a short time later, of a 20 year-old male in the 1200 block of Rae Street. This individual was initially charged with Aggravated Assault and held for court at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 but then remanded by a justice for court the following day. The victim of the assault remains in hospital.
Twenty year-old Elijah Phillip NONAME, DOB: 1992-04-02, of Regina, is charged with Aggravated Assault, contrary to section 268(1) of the Criminal Code. NONAME also faces a Breach of Undertaking [145(3) CC]. NONAME will make his appearance in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2012. This investigation is ongoing.
