Update: Apparent Communication Error
The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public to help in solving a case of mischief at the City’s downtown Plaza.
Sometime between Saturday evening, May 5th, and Sunday afternoon, May 6th, unknown suspects dislodged and toppled six bollards (thick, concrete posts) on the City Plaza. The exact cost of the damage is not known at this time, but it’s estimated to be between five and ten-thousand dollars. The damage was reported by City officials to police this morning.
The Regina Police Service is asking anyone who has information on this crime, or who noted suspicious activity on the City Plaza, on Saturday evening or early Sunday morning to contact police at 777-6500 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
