The Regina Police Service is releasing the identity of the 18 year-old female, who sustained life-threatening injuries after an incident on the 1000 block Rae Street on Sunday, June 5, 2001; and who died in hospital the following day.
The deceased person is 18-year-old Jasmine Caitlin SMITH, DOB: 1992-08-27, of Regina. SMITH is the fifth victim of homicide in Regina in 2011.
A 17 year-old female has been charged with Second Degree Murder in connection with SMITH’s death. The investigation into this case is ongoing.
