A 38 year-old male and 29 year-old female are each facing an additional charge in connection with the death of a three year-old boy, whose death was reported to police on May 3, 2011. Both of the accused in this case have now been charged with Manslaughter.
On Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at approximately 11:45 p.m., the Regina Police Service Communications Centre received a call with information of a possible deceased person in a vehicle in the yard of a residence in the 200 block of Halifax Street. Police, EMS and firefighters attended; police located a van and, inside it, the body of a male child. EMS confirmed the child, later identified as three year-old Nylan Jordan George CLARKE, to be deceased. The resulting investigation led to the arrests of a 29 year-old female and a 38 year-old male in connection with the boy’s death. Continuing investigation had led to additional charges against the same accused persons.
Twenty- nine year-old Anna Marie Rose WILKES, DOB: 1981-11-18, and 38 year-old Harley William Fraser STUECK, DOB: 1972-08-20, both of Regina, are charged with Manslaughter [236 CC]. Both accused made their first court appearance on the new charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2011.
