The Regina Police Service reports there were no major incidents resulting from Mosaic celebrations this year.
A number of patrol members were assigned to “Mosaic duty” as part of their duties from June 2nd to 4th. They visited most of the Mosaic pavilions and were generally well-received by organizers and patrons alike. There were some calls for service at a few pavilions, but nothing unexpected. These calls for service involved intoxicated persons, a few assaults, disturbances and threatening, resulting in a handful of arrests, none particularly noteworthy. Generally speaking, these types of incidents occurred as pavilions closed for the evening and patrons were leaving some venues.
The Regina Police Service thanks the organizers of Mosaic and the Regina public for their co-operation.
