Twelve new recruits will be welcomed to the Regina Police Service on Friday, January 7, 2011.
The twelve recruits will take their oaths, receive their badges and be officially sworn in as members of the Regina Police Service. The recruits will start their training on January 10, 2011, at the Saskatchewan Police College. They will graduate on May 13, 2011, after successfully completing 18 weeks of study at the College, and will then commence their field training under the guidance of experienced Regina Police Service members
The Swearing-In Ceremony, an important event for the recruits and their families and friends, will take place at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 7, 2011, in the Bruton/Harwood Room, 3rd Floor, Regina Police Service, 1717 Osler Street. Members of the media are encouraged to attend. The room will be open for media set-up by 9:45 a.m.
