A third person has been charged in connection with the January, 2010, death of 26 year-old Raymond Bernard GARDYPIE of Regina. Raymond GARDYPIE was the first victim of homicide in Regina in 2010.
On January 9, 2010, at about 12:30 a.m., police received information indicating that there was a deceased person in a house in the 1000 block of Retallack Street. Moments later, police discovered the body of Raymond GARDYPIE. The ensuing homicide investigation led to the arrest, on January 12, 2010, of two males, 17 and 20 years old. Both were charged with Second Degree Murder, in connection with GARDYPIE’s death. Ongoing investigation has now led to the arrest of a third person in connection with this case. A 24 year-old Regina male was arrested at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2010 and has been charged.
Twenty-four year-old Robert Glen GORDON, DOB: 1986-05-20, of Regina, is charged with Second Degree Murder [235(1) CC]. GORDON will make his first court appearance on this charge in Provincial Court at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 31, 2010.
