The Regina Police Service is asking the public any information that could assist in its investigation into a robbery that occurred at a financial institution just before 12:30 p.m. today.
Just after 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 10, 2010, police were dispatched to a financial institution in the 2000 block of Park Street for a report of a robbery that had just occurred. The suspect male entered the premises, showed what appeared to be an edged weapon and demanded and received cash before fleeing. There were no injuries reported in this incident. The male suspect is described as approximately 25 years old, thin build, wearing a white or cream-coloured jacket, with his face covered. A police search of the surrounding area did not locate the suspect or a suspect vehicle. Investigation into this incident is ongoing.
