Two 17 year-old males and one 18 year-old male, all of Regina, face numerous charges after a Halloween night robbery involving a paintball gun.
At approximately 9:52 p.m., on Sunday, October 31, 2010, police were dispatched to the 2500 block of Grant Road after a report that a group of teens had been shot at with a paintball gun by three masked males. Police went to the home of one of the victims and learned that the group, three males and two females between 14 and 15 years old, were confronted by a trio of males wearing Halloween masks. It is alleged the males demanded candy and then discharged the paintball gun at the victims, hitting two of the males. Fortunately, the victims’ injuries were relatively minor. The victims escaped by jumping over a fence. Several paintballs also struck the fence. The victims were able to provide a description of the suspect vehicle, which was located a few blocks away, a short time later by another officer. Three males were subsequently arrested and charged.
