The Regina Police Service is asking the public for assistance in its investigation into a break and enter believed to have occurred overnight at Massey Pool at 100 Massey Road.
At about 8:19 a.m. on Friday, August 27, 2010, police received a report from a City of Regina supervisor indicating the discovery of chemicals and equipment dumped into Massey Pool. It’s believed that an unknown suspect or suspects broke into the property and a storage building on the premises sometime on the evening of Thursday, August 26, 2010 or the early morning hours of Friday, August 27, 2010. The suspect or suspects emptied containers of chemicals and gasoline into the pool and threw equipment into the water as well. The City of Regina has closed the pool to the public.
