The Regina Police Service is requesting information from the public in its investigation into a purse-snatching robbery that occurred at approximately 12:35 a.m. in the area of McTavish Street and Dewdney Avenue.
The victim, an eighteen year-old female, was walking home from the Exhibition when she was approached by two unknown females. It is alleged the suspects hit and scratched the victim and stole her purse, described as a large, white purse. One of the suspects is an Aboriginal female, with a thin build, wearing shorts and a black shirt. The other female suspect is described as Aboriginal, heavy-set and was pushing a stroller with a baby in it. The victim was not able to give police any information as to which way the suspects left the scene.
