Strategic Plan

The Regina Police Service has been engaged in strategic planning for more than ten years. This planning process connects our organization to our board, our employees and the citizens of Regina. It also gives shape to our work on progress and provides an opportunity to change some of the factors that impact or drive our work on public safety. As we scan our organization and the environment in which we work, we have described four distinct areas of focus: 1) service delivery, 2) human resource development, 3) business systems and processes, and 4) partnerships and community engagement. These lenses are not in any way absolute, but they do ensure that our approach is comprehensive and balanced. Within each of these areas, we identify goals and objectives and set performance targets. This allows us to make improvements and address issues while continuing with our day-to-day work.
