Successful completion of the SIGMA exam is the first step in the police competition. The following material is available to assist with preparation for police exams.

  • Norman Hall’s Police Exam Preparation Book
  • John Douglas’s Guide to the Police Officer Exam
  • Barron’s Police Officer Exam
  • Canadian Police Officer Exams

 

It is not necessary to purchase all 4 books, one will likely be sufficient. If you choose to buy any, or all of the books is entirely up to the individual. The Regina Police Service does not endorse any of the books, they are simply suggested study material.
