The Regina Police Service was dispatched to the 4900 block of Dewdney Ave. to a convenience store, on March 5, 2017, at 9:19 p.m. to investigate a reported robbery. Information was reported that a lone male with a firearm robbed the business and left with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes.
Again on the same day at 9:56 p.m. Regina Police Service members were dispatched to the 100 block of Albert St. N. to investigate a reported robbery. Information received here was that a male with a firearm entered a business there and left with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.
None of the suspects were apprehended and it is unknown whether the two robberies are related or not, although it is being considered.
Both commercial robberies are still under investigation.
