The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public as police investigate an incident where it’s believed shots were fired on Saturday, January 14, 2017, on the 400 block of York Street. There are no known injuries resulting from this incident.
At 4:32 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2017, police were dispatched to the 400 block of York Street for a report of a weapons offence. The initial information indicated the victim’s house was shot at. Police were able to obtain an initial vehicle description and did a thorough area search, but the vehicle was not located. A physical search of the immediate area found evidence of shots fired: a bullet, as well as holes in the victim’s residence (shot through the window). No one was injured in the discharge. Officers were at the scene to gather physical evidence and witness statements.
