A 27 year male is facing charges including Forcible Confinement after an incident overnight at a business in the 1700 block of Victoria Avenue.
At approximately 1:51 a.m., police were dispatched to a business in the 1700 block of Victoria Avenue for a report of an unwanted guest. The caller informed police that a male was at the front desk and acting aggressively toward employees. The caller then reported it appeared the male had forced his way to a back room and the caller could no longer see him. When police arrived, there was no one in the business lobby. They could hear faint noise coming from a back office, which was locked. Through a vent, officers could see a struggle between a male and female. They gained entry into the office and took a male suspect into custody. The 27 year-old female victim was treated by EMS and was able to go home. Upon further investigation, the male was charged in connection to this incident as well as breaches of court-ordered conditions.
