Two Regina males and one female are charged after arrests in the high-risk search warrant execution that involved Patrol, Canine, Crisis Negotiators and SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) members, on December 29, 2016, at a residence on the 2000 block of Broder Street.
On December 29, 2016, between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., police executed a search warrant on a 2000 block Broder Street residence as a result of an ongoing investigation. Several people were cleared from the house, as well as one firearm and a small quantity of methamphetamine was recovered in the search. As a result, the two males and one female were arrested without further incident and subsequently charged.
Thirty-three year-old Conridge Jerard DESJARLAIS (DOB: 1983/11/28), of Regina, is charged with:
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm [Sec 91(1), CC];
- Careless Use of a Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition [Sec 86(1), CC];
- Possession of Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order [Sec 117.01(1), CC].
DESJARLAIS made his first appearance in Provincial Court on Friday, December 30, 2016, at 9:30 a.m.
Thirty-three year-old Eldon Michael CYR (DOB: 1983/03/21), of Regina, is charged with:
- Failure to Comply with Probation Order [Sec 733.1(1), CC];
- Fail to Comply with Undertaking [Sec 145(3), CC];
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance (methamphetamine) [Sec 4(1), CDSA].
CYR was released on an officer undertaking and will make his first appearance in Provincial Court on these charges on February 6, 2017 at 9:30 a.m.
Thirty-two year-old Lana Marie ZERR (DOB: 1984/12/28), of Regina, is charged with:
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance (methamphetamine) [Sec 4(1), CDSA].
ZERR was released on officer recognizance and will make her first appearance in Provincial Court on these charges on February 7, 2017 at 9:30 a.m.
