Two males, ages 40 and 37, face a combined total of 47 charges after continued investigation in connection to several break and enters that had occurred to apartment building mail boxes in October of 2016, and the theft of mail belonging to the building’s residents.
Forty year-old James Donald PROVOST, (DOB: 1976-04-27), of Edmonton, Alberta, is charged with:
- Break and enter 348(1)(B) x 4
- Fail to comply with probation order [CC 733.1(1)]
- Possession of stolen mail [CC 356(1)(B)]
- Possession of device to commit forgery [CC 368(1)]
- Identity fraud – possession of another’s identity document [CC 56.1(1)]
- Fraud under $5,000 [CC 380(1)(B)] x 4
- Possession of another’s identity information [CC 402.2(1)] x 2
- Possession of forged document with intent to commit offence [CC 368(1)(D)]
- Possession of stolen property [CC 355(B)]
- Fraudulently impersonate another [CC 403(1)(a)] x 3
- Use of forged document [CC 368(1)(A)]
Thirty-seven year-old Brad WASELENCHUK, (DOB: 1979-06-12), of Regina, is charged with:
- Break and enter 348(1)(B) x 4
- Fail to comply with probation order [CC 733.1(1)]
- Possession of stolen mail [CC 356(1)(B)]
- Possession of device to commit forgery [CC 368(1)]
- Identity fraud – possession of another’s identity document [CC 56.1(1)]
- Fraud under $5,000 [CC 380(1)(B)] x 6
- Possession of another’s identity information [CC 402.2(1)] x 3
- Possession of forged document with intent to commit offence [CC 368(1)(D)]
- Possession of stolen property [CC 355(B)]

- Use of forged document [CC 368(1)(A)]
- Possession of credit card to commit offence [CC 342(1)(C)]
- Possession of credit card data to commit offence [CC 342(3)]
Both accused make their first court appearances on these charges in Provincial Court at 2:00 p.m. today, Thursday, December 22, 2016.
