On November 27, 2016, at approximately 5:00 a.m., police were dispatched to the 3600 block of Van Horne Avenue for a report of an armed robbery. Preliminary investigation indicated that, about four hours earlier, three male suspects entered the home and engaged in a verbal confrontation with the resident. It’s alleged one male suspect pointed a firearm at the male occupant of the residence. It’s also alleged the suspects damaged property and stole items belonging to the victims before fleeing the scene. Fortunately, no one was physically injured in this encounter.
- The first suspect is described as male, Aboriginal, with a scruffy beard and slender build. He was wearing a black and white hooded sweater and carrying a firearm.
- The second suspect is described as male, holding a blunt object.
- The third suspect is described as male, wearing a grey and black jacket, and a black hat.
