The Regina Police service is asking the cooperation of members of the public and residents of the 400 block of Royal Street as police members conduct an investigation in that area.
This is pre-planned operation in an ongoing investigation. It will involve members of the Crisis Negotiation, Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) and Canine units, as well as uniformed and plain clothes police officers. Residents of the area have been advised by the Regina Police Service Communications Centre and asked to remain in their homes, if possible. This notice is intended to reach other members of the public and motorists with the request that they avoid the area at this time.
