On November 19, 2016 at 8:51 pm police were dispatched to a business in the 200 block of Edward Street for a report of a robbery. A lone suspect entered the business stating he had a weapon, and demanded money. The suspect exited the business without getting any merchandise.
At 8:53 pm, police were dispatched to another business in the 1100 block of Dorothy Street for a report of a robbery. A lone suspect entered the business with a weapon, and demanded money and merchandise. The suspect exited the business with an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise.
Police believe the two armed robberies to be related.
There are no further details to release at this point as the investigation is ongoing at this time.
