On November 1, 2016 at approximately 0030 am police were dispatched to the 300 block of McCarthy Boulevard North for a report of a robbery. Police conducted an investigation to learn a lone male entered the business to verbally identified himself as a police officer. The male attended behind the counter and stole a box that contained an undisclosed amount of money. A customer in the business followed the suspect outside where the customer was pushed by the suspect. The customer was not injured. The suspect ran to a truck and fled south on McCarthy Boulevard.
The suspect is described as aboriginal male, approximately 6’, 25-30 years old, thin build, fair skin with scars on his face, wearing dark blue jacket and jeans.
The suspect vehicle is described as a black truck. No weapons were seen or used by the suspect.
There are no further details to release at this point as the investigation is ongoing at this time.
