The Regina Police Service is investigating a robbery that occurred in the 1900 block of Ottawa Street early this morning.
On October 1, 2016th at approximately 08:05 a.m., police were called to a report of a female who had been walking in the 1900 block of Ottawa Street when she was approached from behind by a male who asked for money. As the female turned to face the male, she was pushed to the ground, her bag was stolen and the male fled the area. The victim of the robbery suffered minor injuries.
The suspect is described as an Aboriginal male, approximately 5’7” to 5’8” tall, muscular build, pock marked face, shoulder length brown hair, approximately 40-45 years-old, wearing a black spring jacket and blue jeans.
