A male and female youth were charged in relation to a string of events on Tuesday, September 13th, 2016, involving up to three stolen vehicles and a number of collisions.
A seventeen year-old male, who cannot be named in accordance with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is charged with:
• Two charges of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 [Sec 355(B), CC],
• Two charges of Fail to Comply with Disposition [Sec 137, YCJA],
• Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle [Sec 249(1)(A), CT],
• Fail to Stop at Scene of Accident [Sec 252(1), CT],
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 [Sec 355(A), CC],
• Fail to Comply with Conditions of Undertaking Given by Officer in Charge [Sec 145(5.1), CC].
A sixteen year-old female, who cannot be named in accordance with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is charged with two charges of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 [Sec 355(B), CC].
Both youths appeared in Provincial Youth Court this morning (Wednesday, September 14, 2016) at 9:30 a.m.
