Two males and a female are facing charges in connection with a weapons offence overnight.
At approximately 1:00 a.m., police were dispatched to the 900 block of Victoria Avenue for a report that two males and a female, armed with knives, were trying to fight people outside a Regina business. The suspects were observed entering a nearby restaurant. When police arrived, they observed three individuals, matching the descriptions given by witnesses, exiting the restaurant. All were arrested without incident. Police seized a knife and a cattle prod. Upon further investigation the three were charged.
Twenty-six year-old Paul NOBERT, DOB: 1989-10-25, of Regina is charged with Breach of Undertaking, s. 145(3) CC; and Possession of a Weapon for a Purpose Dangerous to Public Peace (knife), s. 88 CC. NOBERT made his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2016.
Twenty-six year-old Myles Cody ANDERSON, DOB: 1989-12-04, of Regina and 25 year-old Alisha Marie KAHNAPACE, DOB: 1991-06-02, of Regina, are both charged with Possession of a Weapon for a Purpose Dangerous to Public Peace (cattle prod), s. 88 CC. Both were released on an Officer’s Undertaking with a court date of October 11, 2016.
