The Regina Police Service is investigating a robbery and assault that took place yesterday evening.
On Tuesday, June 14th, 2016, at approximately 7:10 p.m. police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Cameron Street for the report of a male robbed and assaulted with a weapon. The victim, a 33 year-old male, was operating an ice cream vendor bicycle when two males approached, demanded he turn over his money and bicycle, and physically assaulted him. The two suspects ran off when people came outside to assist the victim. There is no physical description of the suspects at this time.
EMS attended to the male who sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
