The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public that could assist in an investigation into a stabbing incident that occurred sometime before around midnight on Saturday night/Sunday morning.
On Sunday, June 26, 2016, at about 5:27 a.m., police were called to the hospital for a report of a male who had come in for treatment of puncture wounds to his back. The wounds were described as relatively minor. Police were not able to obtain much information except that the victim was assaulted by a lone male with a knife sometime around midnight. Police were not able to obtain the locating of this incident. The male was treated for his injuries and released from hospital.
