The Regina Police Service is asking the public for information that could assist in a firearms investigation.
At approximately 3:15 a.m. on Saturday, May 21st, 2016, police were dispatched to the 700 block of Garnet Street to investigate reported gunshots in the area. Police arrived at the scene and learned that, 2 groups of people were in the 700 block of Garnet Street when gunshots were fired. After the gunshots a number of individuals ran northbound and others ran to a vehicle parked on 2nd Avenue near Garnet Street. Police have not received any reports of injuries resulting from this incident. Police continue to investigate this matter but at this time no other information has been obtained.
