A 54 year-old Regina male is facing charges in connection with a weapons call at a residence in the 2300 block of Toronto Street on Saturday April 2, 2016.
At approximately 4:52 p.m., on Saturday, April 2, 2016, police were dispatched to a house in the 2300 block of Toronto Street for a report that a male in one of the apartment residences had pointed a firearm at two other males. Police arrived and set up a perimeter at that address and, shortly afterward, the male suspect exited the building and was taken into custody without further incident. Through investigation it was alleged the suspect pointed what appeared to be a long-barrelled rifle at one male, then placed what appeared to be a handgun at the victim’s temple. The second victim alleged the suspect male pointed what appeared to be a handgun at him as well. Police cleared the residence and found five different pellet guns, at least one of which had a long barrel.
Fifty-four year-old Terrance Larry YUZICAPI, DOB: 1961-05-18, of Regina is facing two charges of Pointing a Firearm [87 CC]; two charges of Assault With a Weapon [267(a) CC]; and two charges of Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose [88 CC]. YUZICAPI was released on a JP Undertaking to appear in Provincial Court on May 17, 2016.
