The Regina Integrated Drug Enforcement Street Team (RIDEST) is currently involved in an investigation in relation to a recent theft of prescription fentanyl. Details of this investigation cannot be shared at this time, as the investigation is ongoing. However, the Regina Police Service is cautioning the public of a possible influx of fentanyl in Regina.
The Regina Police Service strongly advises that the use of fentanyl, if not consumed under the direction and care of a medical professional, poses a serious health risk and can potentially be fatal.
