The Regina Police Service reports a 64 year-old male, who is the subject of an 810.2 Recognizance, has been charged with a breach of conditions of the recognizance. In this case, the subject had breached conditions that prohibited him from attending areas of the city where sex trade workers may be encountered, without lawful reason to be there, e.g. for work purposes. The prohibited area would have been specified by the individual’s probation officer. The subject had also breached conditions not to travel outside of the city, nor to obtain or take medication intended to enhance sexual function, and to notify authorities of any romantic or intimate relationship with a female.
On September 17, 2015, at approximately 5:40 p.m. this 64 year-old male was arrested without incident and charged with Breach of the conditions of his 810.2 Recognizance.
Sixty-four year-old Brian Kenneth SOLBERG, DOB: 1951-02-07, of Regina, is charged with four charges of Breach of Recognizance under section 810 [811 CC]. SOLBERG appears in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. today, Friday, September 18, 2015.
