Police have charged two males in a home invasion that occurred yesterday morning, July 28th, 2015, which was the subject of a news release yesterday.
At approximately 7:25 a.m. police were dispatched to a house on the 1500 block of Regent Street for the report of a robbery/home invasion. Two males gained entry to the house while two residents, an adult male and adult female, were home. The suspects took items from the home and left in a vehicle.
Investigation into this incident led to the arrest of two males, ages 43 and 26, who were arrested yesterday.
Forty-three year-old Martin Dennis LABONTE (DOB: 1971/11/21) is charged with:
- Break and Enter & Commit [348(1)(B) CC]
- Disguise with Intent [351(2) CC]
- 2 charges of Forcible Confinement [279(2) CC]
- Use of Firearm During Commission of an Indictable Offence [85(1)(A) CC]
- Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order [117.01(1) CC]
Twenty-six year-old Brian Robert MORRISEAU (DOB: 1989/07/16) is charged with:
- Break and Enter & Commit [348(1)(B) CC]
- Disguise with Intent [351(2) CC]
- 2 charges of Forcible Confinement [279(2) CC]
- Use of Firearm During Commission of an Indictable Offence [85(1)(A) CC]
- Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order [117.01(1) CC]
- Possession of a Weapon [88 CC]
MORRISEAU and LABONTE make their first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court this morning, July 29th, 2015 at 9:30 a.m.
