The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public to assist in an investigation into a purse snatching that occurred on March 29, 2015 in the 2100 block of McIntyre Street. Police investigation into this matter has not led to identification of a viable suspect, so police are turning to the public for more information.
On Sunday, March 29th, police were dispatched to a report of a purse snatching that had occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. in the 2100 block of McIntyre Street. The preliminary investigation indicates a male suspect took the purse of an 80 year-old female victim. The purse was sitting on the victim’s walker beside her. She was not physically harmed. The suspect is described as: male, age 20-25, tall, thin build, with a dark complexion, wearing a dark top, and black pants. The suspect had short black hair, a black beard and big white teeth. The suspect fled on a bicycle.
