A 24 year-old male and a 14 year-old male have been charged in connection with a Break & Enter that occurred in Regina early this morning.
On Tuesday, March 10, 2015, just after 3:00 a.m., police were advised of a suspicious persons call on the 1000 block of Argyle & McTavish Street. When police arrived, they observed two males running south bound in the alley and pursued them. Police apprehended one male and Canine attended and tracked and apprehended the second male.
Twenty-four year-old Kyle OTWAY (1991/10/01), of Regina, is charged with three counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 [355(b) CC]; two charges of Fail to Comply with Conditions of Undertaking Given by Officer in Charge [145(5.1) CC]; and Fail to Comply with Probation Officer [733.1(1) CC]. OTWAY will make his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court this afternoon, Tuesday March 10th, 2015, at 2:00 p.m.
The male youth cannot be named in accordance with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. The youth is being charged with three counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 [355(b) CC]; Possession of a Weapon [88 CC]; Carrying Concealed Weapon [90 CC]; Fail to Comply with Undertaking [145(3) CC]; Fail to Comply with Conditions of Undertaking Given by Officer in Charge [145(5.1) CC]. The male youth will make his first court appearance on these charges in Youth Court this afternoon, Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at 2:00 p.m.
