The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public that could assist in investigating an armed robbery earlier this evening.
On Thursday, February 26, 2015, at about 5:50 p.m., police were dispatched to a business in the 3000 block of 5th Avenue for a report of a robbery in progress. Preliminary investigation indicated three males entered the business, and approached two staff members demanding money. One of the suspects was armed with a long firearm, another had a baseball bat and the third appeared unarmed. The males allegedly stole an undisclosed amount of money and then fled on foot. The staff members were not physically harmed in this incident. Patrol and canine members attended but were unable to locate the suspects. The suspects are described as:
– Male #1: 17-18 years old, skinny, dark pants, black hoody, bandana (unknown colour) covering his face, had a bat;
– Male #2: 17-18 years old, skinny, dark hoody, dark pants, bandana (unknown colour) covering his face, had what appeared to be a long-barrelled firearm;
– Male #3: 17-18 years old, skinny, grey hoody, brown jacket, jeans, bandana (unknown colour) covering his face, no weapon seen.
