Four new recruits will be welcomed to the Regina Police Service on Friday, January 9, 2015.
The four recruits will take their oaths and be officially sworn in as members of the Regina Police Service. The recruits will start their training on January 12, 2015, at the Saskatchewan Police College, along with police recruits from other Saskatchewan municipal police services. They will graduate on May 29, 2015, after successfully completing 20 weeks of study at the College. When they return to the Regina Police Service they will begin their field training under the guidance of experienced Regina Police Service members.
The Swearing-In Ceremony, an important event for the recruits and their families and friends, will take place on Friday, January 9, 2015, in the Bruton/Harwood Room, 3rd Floor, Regina Police Service. Members of the media are encouraged to attend; please arrive at RPS Headquarters by 9:45 a.m. in order to set up.
