The Regina Police Service investigating a report of a weapons offense involving a firearm in the 1300 block of Angus Street and is asking the public for any information that could assist in this case.
On Sunday, November 16, 2014, at approximately 6:10 a.m. police received a call from a business on Albert Street and Dewdney Avenue which reported someone hearing six to seven gunshots in the area of 1300 block Angus Street. Other customers confirmed hearing the shots.
While investigating this complaint, police received another report from a resident of the 1300 block of Rae Street reporting that someone had shot out his front window. The complainant heard the gunshots but had not witnessed the occurrence. Upon arrival, police observed evidence and damage to home consistent with firearm discharges. Police conducted inquiries in the neighbourhood, but a suspect or suspects have not been identified. Tire tracks in the snow suggest the suspect or suspects left the area in a vehicle, but there is no vehicle description at this time.
