A twenty-five year-old male faces assault charges after a weapons incident early this morning.
On Monday, September 29, 2014 at approximately 5:30 a.m. police were dispatched to the 800 block of Angus Street for the report of a weapons offense.
When police arrived at the residence, two males and two females were at the scene. One of the males, a 39 year-old, had apparent stab wounds. He was taken to hospital by EMS with injuries described as not life-threatening. Police investigation led to the arrest of the other male at the scene.
Twenty five year-old Evan Jake PELLETIER (DOB: 1989/06/11), of Regina, is charged with Assault with a Weapon [267(a) CC] and Fail to Comply [145(5.1) CC].
PELLETIER makes his first court appearance in Provincial Court tomorrow, Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 9:30 a.m.
