The Regina Police Service is reminding residents that making bomb threats is not a prank and can result in charges.
On Tuesday, June 18, 2013, just after 1:50 in the afternoon, police were dispatched to a business in the 1200 block of Pasqua Street North for a report of a bomb threat.
When police arrived, the employees were evacuated. After further investigation of the area and in speaking to staff, it was determined that the bomb threat was unfounded. It is alleged the bomb threat came from an acquaintance of one of the staff members, who sent the threat as a prank in order to interrupt business. Employees were allowed to return to work and continue with their day.
