The Regina Police Service would like to extend an invitation to the public and the media to attend our annual Showcase event. Showcase is an event where we show the public what a day in the life of an RPS employee is like. From civilian units, to special teams, to patrol, we will showcase what we do in our community.
The event takes place on Wednesday, May 15 at the Brandt Centre, Evraz Place. We will have info booths, including some from outside partners like Search and Rescue Regina, open from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. There will be a live scenario demonstration at 1:30 and 6:30 including special teams such as Canine, SWAT and Explosives Disposal Unit. Admission to the event is free. There is a concession available for attendees (“Show Special” is a hot dog and drink for $4).
Showcase is a chance for the Regina Police Service to proudly display the work of its many highly-trained, skilled and dedicated employees. We will also have recruiters on hand, encouraging young people to consider the possibilities offered by a career in policing with the Regina Police Service.
