The Regina Police Service has arrested and charged a Regina male after a home invasion involving weapons on May 15, 2012.
On May 15, 2012, at approximately 11:59 p.m., police received a call from a house on Bauermeister Street, reporting that at least two males and a female had forced their way into the house and assaulted the couple living there. Two male suspects were reportedly carrying firearms. A male victim, who was thirty-five years old at the time, was taken to hospital by EMS with apparent gunshot wounds. The female victim, who was twenty-five years old at the time, was taken to hospital for treatment of injuries consistent with an assault.
Investigation into this incident has led to the earlier arrest of one thirty-one year-old female in October. Further investigation led to the arrest of a thirty-one year old male on May 16th 2013 without incident.
Thirty-one year old William Francis NONAME, DOB: 1982/01/04, of Regina is charged with Attempt Murder [CC 239], Threatening, [CC 264.1(1)(a)], and Break & Enter [CC 348 (1)(b)]. NONAME will appear in court this afternoon at 2:00 p.m.
