On March 10, 2013, members of the Regina Police Service entered into an investigation involving a 30 year old Regina man suspected of luring an 11 year old female child using Facebook. The Saskatchewan ICE Unit assisted and on March 15, 2013 arrested Lee John DUCZEK, born August 28, 1982.
Lee DUCZEK is charged with 3 counts of luring a child using a computer system for purposes of facilitating a sexual offence against a child under the age of 18 years. Lee DUCZEK made his first court appearance on Monday, March 18, 2013 at Regina Provincial Court.
The name of the victim will not be released.
The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of the Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, Prince Albert Police Service and the RCMP. Their mandate is to investigate all Internet child exploitation offences.
