A 22 year-old Toronto-area male faces drug related charges after an investigation that resulted in the seizure of a significant quantity of cash, drugs, and offence related property.
On Friday, January 25, 2013, at about 7:45 p.m., plainclothes officers located a suspicious Dodge Caravan on the 1000 block of Robinson Street. With the help of patrol and canine, police pulled the vehicle over and observed what appeared to be drug related property on the front driver’s seat. The occupant was taken into custody without incident and the van was seized and towed for further investigation. The subsequent search of the suspect and the vehicle led to seizure of a significant quantity of cash, drugs and other offence-related property.
Twenty-two year-old Yassine Mohammed Abdellan NAHI,, DOB: 1990/11/13, of Brampton, Ontario, is charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine [5(2)CDSA]; Possession of Cannabis [4(5) CDSA] and Possession of Proceeds of Crime under $5,000 [355(b) CC]. NAHI made his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, January 28, 2013.
