At approximately 6:45 am on Thursday, December 29, 2011, the Regina Police Service was dispatched to a weapons offence at 3rd Avenue and Retallack Street. Preliminary investigation indicates that an adult female was walking when a vehicle pulled up beside her and shot what appeared to be a firearm into the air. No one was injured in this incident.
Police members located the vehicle in the 900 block of Albert Street at approximately 7:20 am this morning. Five people were in the car and are being held for questioning. A firearm has not been recovered at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
