Three Regina residents, one female and two males, are facing 13 charges following a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search at a residence in the 1200 block of Broder Street.
On February 16, 2011, Regina Police Service executed a CDSA search at a residence in the 1200 block of Broder Street. The search was led by members of the Regina Integrated Drug Unit (RIDU) Street Team. The RIDU is an integrated unit made up of members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the Regina Police Service. Cocaine, Ecstasy pills and Marihuana were seized. Three people were taken into custody without incident and charged as a result of this investigation.
Twenty-nine year old Paul Joseph FOLK, DOB: 1981-02-27, of Regina, is charged with:
- 2 counts of Possession for purpose of Trafficking [CDSA 5(2)]
- 1 count of Trafficking Cocaine [CDSA 5(1)]
- 1 count of Proceeds of Crime under $5000.00 [355(b) CC]
Twenty-four-old Kyla Marie MORRISSEAU, DOB: 1986-11-29, of Regina is charged with:
- 2 counts of Possession for purpose of Trafficking [CDSA 5(2)]
- 1 count of Trafficking Cocaine [CDSA 5(1)]
- 1 count of Proceeds of Crime under $5000.00 [355(b) CC]
Twenty-five year-old Jonathon Marcel Henry MORRISSEAU, DOB: 1985-04-06, of Regina, is charged with:
- 1 count of Possession of Cannabis [CDSA 4(5)]
- 2 counts of Possession for purpose of Trafficking [CDSA 5(2)]
- 1 count of Fail to Comply [145(3) CC]
- 1 count of Proceeds of Crime under $5000.00 [355(b) CC]
MORRISSEAU, MORRISSEAU and FOLK made their first Provincial Court appearance on February 17, 2011. The investigation into this matter is ongoing.
