A 16 year-old male is in custody as part of an investigation into an apparent stabbing that occurred this morning, January 5, 2011, in a house in the 4200 block of 6th Avenue.
At approximately 7:58 a.m. on Wednesday, January 5, 2011, the Regina Police Service received a call requesting help for an injured person. Police went to a house in the 4200 block of 6th Avenue and found an adult male in the house; he was the victim of an apparent stabbing. The injured male was taken by EMS to hospital for treatment. Police investigation led to the arrest, without incident, of a 16 year old male, just after 11:30 a.m. at a house in the 1300 block of Athol Street. The investigation is ongoing.
