The Regina Police Service is investigating a single vehicle collision that resulted in the death of a 45 year-old Regina female. The collision occurred at approximately 1:00 am, on Friday, July 09, 2010, at Broad Street and 4th Ave.
Preliminary investigation indicates a mini-van was driving northbound on Broad Street when it crossed the meridian, the southbound lanes of Broad Street and struck a semi trailer parked at 4th Avenue and Broad Street. The 45 year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s name will not be released until next of Kin are notified. Police are working with the Office of the Chief Coroner. The investigation into this matter is ongoing.
